Rebtel is one of Sweden’s fastest growing innovation companies and turns local calls into international calls through innovative VOIP-technology and local numbers in over 50 countries. Rebtel has around 3.000.000 users worldwide and several percentages of some of the largest calling corridors. Founded in 2006 and backed up by some of the largest venture capital investors Rebtel now intends to expand. Rebtel has its HQ in Stockholm and around 30 employees.

Due to company growth and new expansion plans, the company wants to strengthen its organization in user experience and interaction design. With this in mind, we’re looking to recruit an Interaction Designer who can help us develop and improve the user experience of our web site and calling services.

The Job
As Interaction designer you’ll work in our Product management, responsible for the definition and development of the user experience on the consumer web site, mobile web, calling service and other user interfaces. You’ll work closely with developers and other stakeholders such as Marketing and Customer service to refine solutions and ensure that user’s and business needs are met. You’ll drive the process of user centered design, applying user tests as a part of the design process, work with web analyst to optimize web conversion and produce graphical components based on graphical profile.

Your Profile
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in HCI, Interaction design, Industrial design or related field or have acquired similar depth of experience. You also have a couple of years of experience in defining and designing functionality-rich web applications. You’re used to participating in the whole process of product development and have been part of several successfully launched web applications.

We’re looking for a person with a strong understanding of user centered interaction design methods and web technology, and a feeling and talent for creating simple interaction designs for complex functionality.

As we are a startup with a slim organization and a high pace, you must be able to work independently and drive the definition process for new products or features. You need to be organized and be able to put wild ideas into a tangible form.

Though we are a Swedish company, our users are all over the world, and we have team members of different nationalities. So you must be able to communicate well in English, both written and spoken.
